Images
All the images of your site are stored in an online asset manager. This server — Cloudinary — prepares images of various sizes and resolutions for the website. Your CMS connects to Cloudinary behind the scenes. The upshot is that image management is very easy for you, dear editor:
- you can search for image titles
- you can drag and drop images to the Media library, or to any interface that uses an image
- you can select old images, or upload and select new images
- you can upload medium to high resolution images (about 1 to 5M) and allow the CMS to optimize them for the web for you.
Best practice: name your image files meaningfully! You can search for them later that way. EG: all headshots might be named ‘headshot-firstname-lastname.jpg’, or all headers might be named ‘header-two-cats.jpg’
