One editor at a time
Only one editor can edit a page at a time. When a editor is working on a page, Forestry will “lock” the page until the editor saves or discards her changes.
This prevents another editor from accidently overwriting the work of another. Some good practices:
- Do not work in Forestry in multiple tabs or windows. Use only one window.
- When editing a page, save your changes with completed.
- If you are “just looking” at a page, and have no changes to make, when finished, click page to the Pages list view.
- If a document is locked, you’ll have to ask the editor to save his or her changes.
